I had the honor of being one of Jackson’s studio instructors in landscape architecture at the University of Oregon. Jackson was a natural talent in landscape design, yet was also a diligent and hard worker in my course. He was very proud of the effort he put into his project, as was I. I was so excited to hear that he had secured a position in Dallas. I am heartbroken that such a wonderful young person and future leader of our profession is no longer with us. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. Jackson will remain a fond memory in my heart.
